As of right now I'm midway on a twelve page model stitch for an Online Retailer. It's hard going and fun. The project I'm doing is so not my style and is full of confetti but it stitches up brilliantly and the colours are so vibrant it calls to me. I don't have permission to show the project yet but will post a pic when it's done.

Each sampler took a week to stitch. The chart is "Lincoln's Baby Sampler" by Maria Diaz which is available from her website or an older issue of Cross Stitch Collection Magazine.
Edited to add these samplers are for my first Great Nephew and Niece. Tyler is Shaun (Nephew) and Beths first baby. A'sharae is Danielle (Niece) and Dorian's first baby.

The Liebster Blog Award.
There are conditions attached to this award, so here is the text I copied from Elisabeth with my blogs added to the end.
Liebster is a German word meaning favourite, dearest or beloved.

2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
3. Post the award on your blog. List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites. Leave comments on their blog so they know about the award.

Yiotas-XStitch. com
Something a little bit different for this post. I have been asked if I would like to receive a cross stitch kit to review so I said yes. There are a beautiful range of cross stitch kits at Yiotas and I chose the Donkey pair as my mum fell in love with them. The chart is large and very clear the instructions are some of the clearest I've read to date. The threads in this kit are Madeira, I'm usually a die hard always swap to DMC fan but I'm going to use these as they feel gorgeous. It will be my next project after I finish Kaleidoscope. If you're looking for a new project or just want to buy have a look at the cross stitch kits from yiotas-xstitch.com they also do cross stitch charts as well.
In other news my beloved netbook "Lappy" has died, yes He's buggered off to laptop heaven with no warning for me so I'm using my mum and dads huge lappy for the moment but hopefully I'll have another soonish. So the update may be few and far between however I should be a ble to make a hugggge dint in my wip pile.
