Wednesday 22nd April

Well today has been a sorting out, making up kinda day. My Fibro has shifted for bad to worse so i havent been able to do much. I have been finishing off making some ornies. this is from a Round Robin I was in in 2008. Ive added some Dress It Up Buttons and lsome Bells and Light Strings I had. Im very pleased with it. Its a shame it can only be out in December though I want it all year!

The design is Christmas Reindeer by Lucie Heaton stitched on 14Ct Aida with DMC Flosses.

Monday 20th April

Well I've just finshed off Petal Fairy and have to say I have loved every single stitch. Next project is Frogscornu by Barbara Ana. Then its back to my Mirabilia's I think im going to do Bliss Fairy next then I can get matching frames for Petal and Bliss as a pair.
Bliss Fairy will be done on 16# Aida from Enchanted Fabrics colour Celadon.

Here's my latest finish, another Mirabilia. This is Lilly, stitched on 28# Autumnal Abstract E/Weave, dyed by Emma (emmaslittleangels on Webshots). The fabric is fab to stitch on andpersonally I think Em has dyed it to perfection.
This was a joy to stitch, it seemed to stitch up in no time at all. It took me approx 5 days to finish.

Here is my next WIP Petal Fairy on Enchanted Fabrics 16# Aida Raindrop.

Wednesday 3rd December

Finished all 10 Trees last night just need to wait for my camera batteries to recharge then I can post some piccies. really pleased with how they have turned out, they only took 2 hours ish to stitch so was quite chuffed.Still havent decide how Im going to finish them but Ive got 20 days to decide.


I have these Key Fobs leftover for sale. hte can be used as keychains or as Scissor keeps. I find them great for scissors and it has a keyring clamp, you put it on the scissors and the open just enough to cut the thread but not enough to cut the fabric or person!

Ive just ordered these 3 Mirabilias from the states. Ive never done one before but I have loved Fern and Tigerlily since I saw them. Holly is a new release and I think its only right that I should treat myself once in a while.Ill let you know how I get on.

At the moment Im working on Name trees by Helga Mandl for christmas, I have 3 to do then the set is finished. It takes around 3 hours to complete a tree. Im using Variagated threads to the effect is brilliant and unique. Pictures to follow soon.
